Tim Haggerty is a Long Island–based sound designer and audio engineer with a passion for bringing stories to life through sound. Since 2019, he has served as the resident sound designer at Theatre Three, where he has crafted immersive soundscapes for productions, including The Wizard of Oz, Driving Miss Daisy, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Grease, Mamma Mia, Murder on the Orient Express, Something Rotten, Wait Until Dark, and Jekyll & Hyde, for which he was awarded Best Sound Design by BroadwayWorld.com in 2020.

In addition to mainstage productions, Tim designs for Theatre Three’s annual One-Act Play Festival and acclaimed Children’s Theatre series, with titles like Cinderella, Pinocchio, and Barnaby Saves Christmas. From 2018 to 2024, he also served as the theater’s Head of Audio, engineering live performances ranging from musicals and plays to special events and summer concerts. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Tim pivoted to video editing for Theatre Three's Zoom series Offstage/Online while unable to work in live theatre. The series featured 86 online plays, including the 85th production, Heartbreak or Cigarettes, which he wrote.

Tim’s work extends to CM Performing Arts Center (Evita, Rock of Ages) and numerous local schools and educational institutions, including The Hewitt School, Lindenhurst High School, and Miller Place High School, where he provides sound design and technical support for student and faculty productions.

Beyond the stage, Tim has worked behind the scenes at Radio City Music Hall, including as a stagehand for the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards. He also has a growing portfolio in film and video, having provided sound for independent films such as Victim No More and Second Act Trouble, the latter of which he also wrote and directed.
